Brighton Satsang
Hearing the Inner Voice

An introduction to the Bhagavad Gita
First of four sessions

(Ranchor will share the Bhagavad Gita over four sessions.)

The Bhagavad Gita (‘Song of God’) is one of the world’s earliest spiritual teachings. A knowledge of the Gita gives an ideal foundation for deepening your yoga practice.

Sanskrit chanting

The session will open with singing devotional mantras, then we focus on a chanting two or three specific mantras from the Gita’s 700 Sanskrit verses, whose sacred sounds give access to the inner world.

Knowledge of the self: Jnana yoga

The self is eternal and indestructible, without beginning or end. At the end of life the self is carried into another body in the continuing cycle of rebirth.
